Defense Takes Over In Lyman Murder Trial

It's the defense's turn in the murder trial of June Lyman, as the state rests its case.

Lyman's attorney, Mike Williams, says his client was dealing with stress brought on by the death of her daughter and a failing business.

Williams says on the evening Lyman allegedly shot her husband to death in their Anthon, Iowa home, she was drunk and on anti-depressants.

He says that put her in an altered state of mind, and the defense plans to question several psychiatrists about that possibility.

The trial is set to resume tomorrow.

If convicted Lyman could face life in prison.
